Driving evidence-based Management Decisions.

The Department Corporate Development deals in research and teaching with the management, strategy and design of organizations. Central areas of the Department are entrepreneurship, organization, human resources, strategy and business ethics.

We emphasize the combination of rigor & relevance. This means that our research and teaching aims to be both of high scientific quality and equally relevant for practice. Our goal is therefore to produce cutting-edge research that is relevant to practice, promotes evidence-based management decisions, and contributes to the success of organizations and the well-being of their stakeholders. We value close interdisciplinary collaboration between management research, behavioral economics, and psychology and live it in our research and teaching programs. In addition, we examine the opportunities and risks of new forms of work (e.g. platform work).
